Dr. Rosanova believes in educating others about their eye health, as evidenced by his patient education video library, numerous community lectures on eye-related topics, free eye-health screening for senior community, and teaching positions.

Dr. Mark Rosanova, born and raised in Chicago, graduated from the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University Medical School. He did his ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University Medical School. He completed his fellowship in cataracts and cornea surgery at the Kentucky Eye Institute, Lexington, KY.

Dr. Rosanova has been involved with laser eye surgery for the correction of vision since 1989, in Europe, where he spent time with the innovators of the procedure. He has performed PRK since 1995. Dr. Rosanova continues to perform and teach cataract, intraocular and cornea surgery daily.

Dr. Rosanova has presented over 30 papers sharing his knowledge and expertise in vision correction techniques and general ophthalmology. He has attended several international meetings on advances in laser technology. He is an active member of several ophthalmic and medical societies. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
